Hismith dildos are perfect for use on or off our sex machines. Every product is designed with pleasure in mind. With sizes, shapes and styles to suit every taste and ability, no matter what gender you are, you'll find something to suit you and take you on your wonderful journey.

Confused by all the options? Here's how to choose the perfect dildo. Read this brief guide to get started.

How to choose the perfect dildo?

We have a vast selection of dildos to suit every preference, but to make it easier to find the exact dildo you want, we've categorised them in a few ways:

Materials: Silicone or Metal

Different materials offer a unique experience with varying textures, temperatures, and hygiene.

Silicone is the best dildo material because it offers a good balance between firmness and usability. It's completely non-porous, so easy to clean with a little soap and water, or it can even be boiled to sterilise it. This is what most of our dildos are made of, so you're sure to find one to suit your every desire.

Metal is non-porous and easy to clean, but it also offers unique opportunities for temperature play that silicone doesn’t. Some will prefer the smooth and firm texture, but it won't suit everyone.

PVC or TPE offers the most realistic and soft, skin-like textures, but there are some dangers associated with the material, and in general, we'd recommend you avoid them. We do have a few PVC dildos if that’s your preference.

Size

Everyone is different, so rather than using a generic scale like Small, Medium, and Large, you should look at actual measurements on the product details. We provide measurements in diameter and insertable length. You can use the FILTER feature to narrow the choices to a particular range.

If you're a beginner and unsure of the sizing, it can help to find a household object to physically compare it to. If you already have a favorite toy and you’re looking to size up, we advise no more than about 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger in diameter than your current largest toy.

Shape and Texture

Dildos come in all kinds of shapes, from realistic (and unrealistic!) human penises to fantastical creations inspired by animals or mythical creatures. Even within the category of realistic dildos, you’ll find variations such as slight curves (great for hitting the P and G-spot) or realistic balls.

The texture of a dildo also plays a big part in the experience, with features such as life-like veins, smooth surfaces, or even ridges and spirals for added stimulation. Fantasy dildos often feature the most intricate textures to spark your imagination.

Base and Connector Types:

Whether you prefer hands-free play, strap-on adventures, or compatibility with our range of fucking machines and other devices, there's a base type to suit your needs.

Suction Cup: Dildos with a suction cup base feature a flat, sturdy bottom that adheres to smooth surfaces. It allows for hands-free play, letting you explore various positions and scenarios without manual support. These dildos are versatile and convenient, ideal for solo play and experimentation with different angles and positions. You can still use them with your fucking machine with a suction cup plate adaptor.

Kliclok Connector: Kliclok is an advanced locking system used on all our premium fucking machines. Simply insert it until you hear a metallic click, which indicates it’s locked. To detach, pull back the outer sleeve on the machine side, and the toy will pop out. All of our Kliclok-equipped dildos with a flared suction cup come with a removable Kliclok connector, meaning you can remove the Kliclok connector and just use it as a suction cup dildo. Those with a flat base have fixed a Kliclok connector.

Quick Air Connector: Initially used for water and air hose connections, the Quick Air connector was adapted by Hismith for our previous generation of sex machines and accessories. We’ve now discontinued the Quick Air connector in favour of the Kliclok system, but you can still purchase Quick Air to Kliclok and Kliclok to Quick Air adapters to use your existing hardware.

3XLR Connector: Originally used for audio and video equipment, the 3XLR connector is mostly found on our budget sex machines and adult toys. It's easy to connect and disconnect, but the overall quality and materials aren’t as durable and sturdy as Kliclok.

Vac-U-Lock Base: The Vac-U-Lock system, developed by Doc Johnson, features a plug that inserts into a hole in the dildo's base. It’s a universal system that enables secure attachment to harnesses and sex machines with an adaptor. However, installation and removal requires some effort.

Features: Vibrating, P/G-Spot, Dual Density, Strap-On, Textured, Double-Ended, and Ejaculating

Vibrating Dildos: These dildos come equipped with a built-in or removable vibrating mechanism to provide additional stimulation, particularly targeting the G-spot, P-spot, or clitoris.

G-spot/P-spot Dildos: Designed with a curved shaft and pronounced head to specifically stimulate the G-spot or P-spot.

Dual Density Dildos: These dildos feature a firm core with a soft outer layer, mimicking the feel of a real penis as much as possible.

Textured Dildos: Featuring various textures such as ridges, bumps, or spirals along the shaft to increase internal stimulation, these dildos are especially favoured for anal play.

Double-Ended Dildos: Long dildos with functional ends on both sides, suitable for shared use or deeper penetration. They can also be bent to allow simultaneous vaginal and anal insertion.

Strap-On Dildos: Designed to be attached to a harness, a strap-on is a wearable dildo.

Ejaculating: Sometimes referred to as a “cum tube”, an ejaculating dildo contains a hose that runs through the shaft, and is connected to a bulb or syringe. This can be filled with your choice of liquid, and either used to simulate ejaculation, or just enhance the experience by adding lubrication while in use.

Tips for Using a Dildo:

  • Clean the dildo thoroughly before and after each use with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner. Silicone toys can also be boiled with a dash of bleach if you’re concerned about any smells.
  • Always use plenty of water-based lube on both the dildo and yourself to ensure comfort; this is especially true for anal play, where there’s no natural lubrication.
  • After use, clean again thoroughly using soap and water. Silicone dildos are fine to store together, as they’re inert and will not react with other materials. However, you should avoid placing PVC dildos together, or they may melt (just another reason we don’t recommend PVC as a toy material).

What Is a Dildo?

A dildo is a type of sex toy designed for penetration. Although usually shaped like a penis and used for stimulation during masturbation or with a partner, dildos come in various sizes, shapes, and materials—including silicone, rubber, glass, or metal. Some dildos also feature additional features such as vibration or suction cup bases for hands-free use. They are versatile tools for exploring your sexuality and you’re sure to find one that’s perfect for your needs.
